The Fishermans Shed

The Fisherman’s shed is an affordable private sleep out nestled in a rural setting on minutes away from Mangawhai Heads surf beach, shops, and launching ramp. all this is within a short 10 minute drive away. The stunning Tene Kaha walking track starts only a short 5min walk from the property. During the summer months you can enjoy music and taste local wines/cuisine in the local vineyards (less than a 5min drive).

The Fishermans shed sleeps up to 6 people. With luxury beds, modern bathroom, large deck overlooking the neighbouring paddocks and native bush. The lower courtyard is the perfect place to relax, BBQ and enjoy an outside dining experience. When the sun drops turn on the festoon lighting and enjoy a drink or meal around the large outside table.


The sleeping configuration is perfect for up to two couples or a family of up to 6. The super king in Bedroom 1 can be split into two singles if needed.The property has plenty of secure off street parking, it private, quiet and plenty of space for kids to run around in a safe environment.

The courtyard has a large Webber BBQ for cooking and is the perfect place to watch the sun go down after relaxing Mangawhai day.

Tea, coffee, milk and a fresh loaf of home baked bread with jam is provided.
